Greetings, Players, Parents, and Guardians, on behalf of the SHS Boys Basketball Coaches and Boosters, we want to welcome you to another exciting season of basketball. We are thrilled to work with players and families to make this a great and memorable season. To help make that happen we want to provide you with some important information about the season. 

• Players have been assigned a drink to donate to help us support the concession stand. Please only bring what your player was assigned and bring it to the Mandatory family meeting with the name of the player written on it. 

• Mandatory Parent/ Guardian meeting will be on Thursday 12/5/2024 at 6:00 PM at the Rochester Rec conference room 1. If a player cannot have a family member present, please let the coaches know to ensure you don’t miss any important information.

• Varsity travel suits will cost $150.00 this year, the Boosters will cover 50%. Suits will be held until the $75.00 cash or check has been paid. The Boosters will also cover 50% of the shooting shirts for the JV & Freshman teams. The final price and details on the shooting shirts will be available at the parents meeting. If there is financial hardship, players or family members are encouraged to reach out to the coaching staff.

• To help avoid the recurring uniform return issues we have dealt with in the past few years, we will be collecting a $150.00 uniform deposit. This deposit may be made by cash or check. If paid by cash, it will be held and returned once the uniform is returned. If paid by check, the check will be held and uncashed, when the uniform is returned the check will be returned, if uniform is not turned in, the check will be cashed, and a replacement uniform will be purchased.

• Concession Stand shift sign up’s – All players' families are required to volunteer for three (3) concession stand shifts throughout the season. Families may buy out of their shift at $50.00 per shift. Players whose families have not signed up or bought shifts by 1/03/25 will be assigned shifts to work for their family. To sign up for shifts register for Boosterhub https://rb3.boosterhub.com/register/9388. Once registration is completed, navigate to volunteer tab for opportunities.

• Communication and updates this year will be done in four ways.

• Boosterhub communications Via News post, Text, App and Email.
• Player to parent/guardian communication
